God Bless Oprah's Christianity Part 2

The Bible; The Secret & Christianity. Can they co-exist? Are these laws simply another manifestation of our Father (God) and beloved big Brother Christ Jesus?

Yes!

Before I use scripture to prove my position, I'd like to remind everyone of one thing, God is Love. When you read counter attacks to this article, ask yourself is that Love? When Oprah brought about these Laws out to the public to better peoples lives, was not that Love?

Oprah provided millions a new path back to the Fathers home. Let me share this scripture:

"Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God! Therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Beloved, now we are the sons of God; and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: But we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Your Views: More on the gun debate

I travelled a lot around the world and the remarks by the majority of New Zealanders in this thread is, unfortunately, very typical. There is not a more insecure group of people on the planet.

Lewis B. Sckolnick
The nice thing going for all of you folks living in other countries is that you do not have to live here with the likes of us and we are eternally grateful for that but it seems as though many of you would like to come here anyway at the drop of a hat. There was more than 20,000 rounds of ammo in my house when I was in high school and most of it was in my closet. There were more guns than you would ever believe. We had our own private in house pistol range. We made our own ammo. We call it America. Of course I voted for President Bush, was there a choice?

These killings in America are indeed appalling and this is something America will never kick.

Kenya: Why Mother Tongues are Dying

Angelina Mueni, 18, is one such person. She is not familiar with her mother tongue. "I can understand what is being said but I cannot speak the language," she says. Since childhood, she has only spoken English and Swahili.

"My parents and siblings all speak Swahili and English and since am the lastborn, I had to take after them. After all, how can I start speaking Kikamba when no one else in the house speaks it?" she asks.

Valencia Teenager Plays His Guitar to Victories

With a love for the blues, his favorite guitar and a round one victory already under his belt, 17-year-old Valencia High School senior Charlie Tichenor was ready for an evening of competition.

As the Sherman Oaks Guitar Center store prize winner of the King of the Blues guitar competition, Tichenor earned the right to compete in the district finals - which were held Wednesday evening in Pasadena - when he was selected by a panel of judges to represent the store in the nationwide guitar competition.

Though Tichenor is excited about the opportunity to both showcase his skills and compete against other top players in the area, the carefree but highly talented musician - who will be attending the Berkeley School of Music in Boston this fall - is not as concerned with winning as he is with enjoying the experience and learning from the competition experience.

NW teen hopes to be student ambassador

"I have long believed, as have many before me, that peaceful relations between nations require mutual respect between individuals."
- President Dwight D. Eisenhower
From covering the mid field on her high school softball team to journeying to the middle country, 'Chung Kuo,' aka China, North White freshman Ashley Smith hopes to represent her community and her country as a young ambassador as part of a People to People trip to the People's Republic.
According to an ancient proverb originating in that land, the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step, or more literally, under one's feet.
With that in mind, 15-year-old Smith is working on ways to be able to finance the cost of the trip - from babysitting to planning a free-will donation car wash with friends.
